RSL makes light work at Thorn

Resin Surfaces (RSL) supplied 22,000sq meters of factory floor at Thorn Lighting’s new factory in Spennymoor, County Durham.

Flooring contractor 4m Flooring used RSL Dampshield and Resucoat HB for a hardwearing and consistently level floor.
It is believed a key factor in choosing these products was that both are formulated to be applied quickly and effectively using few tools and minimum effort.

After the floor had been levelled and prepared, the epoxy resin damp proof membrane Dampshield was applied. It is designed to be tolerant of residual moisture in concrete.

An application of Resucoat HB followed, reputedly chosen for its successful track record in industrial installations. This heavy duty coating aims to provide a sealed continuous surface, once cured.
