4M works in dust free location
4m Flooring uk says it delivered a high performance floor with style and safety underfoot for BAE Systems Submarine Solutions in its nuclear build facility at Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.
Due to high technology equipment at the site the floor preparation and installation process had to be carried out in a dust free environment.
A grey floor finish was installed with green walkways applied throughout. Demarcation areas and working zones were highlighted in yellow for additional safety.
John Amis, 4m’s project manager, says, “The new floor looks superb and supports the site’s H&S function in general.”
The company says it has a range of prestigious flooring contracts. It has an Investors in People award and ISO 14001 environmental standard.
